The treasurer is responsible for the collection and distribution of all property taxes paid by residents of Sharon Township.Taxes

Tax Collection within Sharon Township is conducted twice a year in the following manner:
 
Summer Taxes are mailed July 1st and due September 14th. A 1% penalty will be added on September 15th. There will be a 1% penalty October 1st and the first of each month thereafter.
 
Winter Taxes are mailed December 1 and due February 14th.
 
All unpaid real property taxes are turned over and payable to Washtenaw County on March 1st. The county automatically adds a penalty upon receipt of uncollected taxes.
 
Credit card payments are only accepted until 4:30pm, on February 14th at the Sharon Township Offices or by internet. A 3% fee will be charged and assumed by the taxpayer.

How and When to Pay

Taxes can be paid online, check, money order, or cashiers check made out to Sharon Township.Taxes can be either sent directly to the Sharon Township Hall at 18010 Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester, Mi 48158 or they can be dropped off in person using the drop box located by the front steps of the Township Hall.
